In the month of August, the Foundation teams up with local businesses to sponsor an annual Golf Outing. The event is held at The Meadows on the Grand Valley State University's Allendale campus. A buffet dinner and awards ceremony cap off the outing.
The monies raised at this event benefit the Educational Foundation. Thanks to the efforts of the volunteers who help with check-in, and of the many individuals and businesses that participate as sponsors and golfers, this event is always a huge success!
Outing Information

- Registration gifts
- Registration & Lunch begins at 11:00 a.m.
- Practice Range from 11:00-11:45 a.m.
- Shotgun start at Noon
- Four-person scramble
- 18 holes with a cart
- Snacks and pop provided during the outing
- Box lunch available for all golfers
- Buffet dinner served at approximately 5:30 p.m.
- Prize give-aways during the dinner
