Building Community through Volunteerism
Jenison Christian School is a wonderful place for children to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. It is a vibrant community of caring and involved adults and children, a place to develop and nurture lasting friendships and meaningful relationships that transcend school hours and boundaries. And volunteering is where it all begins!

Every Child Benefits
As a private school we depend on volunteers to help keep tuition costs down. Through the hard work of our parent club and those that volunteer to assist in various fundraisers, classroom learning is enhanced and every student benefits. Money raised goes toward building curricula in classrooms, supplying teachers with added resources to enhance their teaching, and updating areas around school.

Getting Involved
Parent Club is ready to help families connect with our school and other families. Make sure to look at the various opportunities for you to serve here at JCS.

Every PreK-8th grade family is responsible for signing up for and completing volunteer opportunities to equal 12 points. If you prefer to opt out of volunteering, there will be a $400 fee. If you have family financial or health concerns that are functioning as a barrier, please speak with Mr. Oosterheert regarding your unique situation.
