Linda Shaban

What a comfort it is to know that I am not my own, but belong to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ! I am so thankful for his ultimate sacrifice on the cross for our eternal life. For it is by grace that we have been saved! His forgiveness is such a gift. I pray that as a Christian I could show his love to everyone by being his hands and feet in this world.  

 

I was born and raised in Grandville, MI. My husband is Lebanese and spent much of his life living in Nigeria. He ended up coming to Calvin College, where we met. After graduating from Calvin College I taught for three years at DeMotte Christian and then 4 years at Zeeland Christian. I’ve taught art, PE, lots of middle school, 3rd grade, 1st grade and have coached many sports. I stayed at home raising my three sons who all went through JCS. One is now in college and two are at Unity Christian High School, so now I am back to teaching.
