“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus…and run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”  Hebrews 12: 1b,2a. When I was around 13, I sat by my bedroom window and confessed I was a sinner and then I got down on my knees and asked the Savior to be the Lord of my life, and so began my race. I thank the Lord that the path He had marked out for me included children. I’ve been given the opportunity to work and play with, encourage and be encouraged by, teach and learn from the children God has put along my path. My prayer for each of them has been and will be that they too will, “fix their eyes on Jesus”.

 

I was blessed to be able to attend Christian Schools from kindergarten through college. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA. It’s been my privilege to be part of Jenison Christian’s educational support staff since 1992.
