Shonna Geels

God the Father is my patient, loving Creator and Abba.  Jesus Christ is my personal Lord, Savior, and King of my life.  He is my friend who walks with me and guides me through each day.  I am so thankful for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who encourages, enables, and equips me for every step of my life journey.  I pray to make this real for my students because this needs to be a heart relationship rather than just head knowledge.  I seek to strengthen, restore, and/or renew my students’ relationships with God, for that is the primary goal to me as a teacher and a believer!

 

I attended Grandville Calvin Christian School and then went to Dordt College.  I taught middle school math in Sheldon, Iowa and at Grandville Calvin Christian. My husband and I have been blessed with five children, a daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter.  I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to teach middle school math and Bible at Jenison Christian in 2016!
